Australia's first dedicated hospital operating system.

OlinquaOS

Australia's first dedicated hospital operating system.

Supercharge interoperability. Bring mission critical data together on a single, secure system.

Hospitals are complex webs of people, systems, devices and machines, all working towards the same goal  excellence in patient care.

But what if you can’t actually all work together?

We’ve figured out that better collaboration starts by simplifying communication. Whether you’re sending a message to an entire team, a single clinician, or need personnel to receive system alerts, OlinquaOS seamlessly supports various devices and modalities (text, call, video) on a centralised, secure operating system.

Connected to both operational and clinical technologies, OlinquaOS integrates essential data through our vendor-neutral open platform. Simply configure the automated workflows that make sense for your hospital, ensuring rapid response in moments that matter.

How does OlinquaOS work?

Adaptor Library

OlinquaOS connects legacy and modern systems like nurse call, fire panels, real time location services, security systems and building management systems.

Integrated Data Record

OlinquaOS ingests, cleans and stores data from various alarms and systems in your hospital. It uses a standard data format for easy data manipulation.

Context Engine

OlinquaOS contexualises data semantically ensuring it has meaning – e.g. if repeated alarms originate from the same source, our system recognises duplicates and avoids sending several alerts.

Workflow Engine

OlinquaOS coordinates complex data workflows dependent on your organisational requirements to support staff in everyday hospital operations.

Routing Engine

OlinquaOS routes data to the right destination enabling proactive responses in emergencies. Delivery of messages and alerts can be to pagers, smartphone devices, phone systems, MS Teams or SMS.

Action Engine

OlinquaOS performs actions on data insights to deliver Task Management, Alarm Management, Communication & Collaboration, Patient and Staff Safety and Facility Monitoring.

Integration in hospitals

How does it all come together?

Our integration architecture connects on-premises and cloud-native applications and systems into a unified platform where all existing hospital applications can work collaboratively.

Underpinning every operational system in the hospital, improving ROI on existing clinical software investment, and overcoming the current challenges of 1:1 integrations. Break free from vendor lock-in contracts and turn your data into a dynamic asset that works effortlessly.

Our integration layers
  • Devices: mobile devices of all kinds.
  • Applications: all communication and collaboration apps.
  • Integrated systems: all hospital internal and external systems.
  • Platform: interoperability layers in our connected environment components.
  • Enabling technologies: specific integrations allowing Olinqua’s solutions to work in on-premises infrastructure.

To date, there has been no solution or integration that Olinqua cannot handle – from a hot water service to an enterprise BMS (Building Management System) or nurse call – the system has been able to integrate to all of our internal systems with ease.”
